How long can we hold on,how hard is it to forget what's now gone.Good times and people are beginning to fade,now we must deal with the mistakes we've made.Happiness and love both gone,how much longer can we hold on?Tears and pain replace our dreams,life without love is how it seems.Loss of direction, and a weakening will,an empty heart only love can fill.Day by day the heartache remains,still surviving, but living with the pain.Faithfully searching for that perfect mate,somehow always being opposed by fate.Most is lost, but all not gone,how much longer can we hold on?
