I gaze into her saddend eyesand the tears that filled themcaught me by surprise.I know not what she yearned for,as I stared beyond her brown eyes.However, all I saw was alittle soul, lost in the darkenedmoments of time.I saw a little heart broken,that, merely love could mend.I saw a spirit shatteredby childhood nightmaresand fearful dreams....I gaze into her brown eyes,a little girl sitting there. I saw a small flame in her soul burning, yet, dying slowly.That of which only hope could revive.
