The Life Goddess

The Leaf Goddess
August,,2005,, Damascus
Gracious grounds her feet touchedAnd her scent she left, mixed with the scents of trees,Flying around over airy spaces. . .Rain, she touched, Turned it into dew Under the dim light of hope.Following her senses,Following where her heart lead her,She flew, Through the green woods ahead,Gone to lands of undiscovered tribes Where waters flowed in vibrant motions,In quest of a world, an underworld.Artistically ironically she was going on. . .Revolving in violent storms that lived with herLeft silky lines drawn along the curves of her face.Still she knew not where she was going."Do not wait for me" she whispered. . . "Do not".
