The Leaves Dance In The Wind

The leaves dance in the wind
She crouches in the corner,And holds herself tight. The leaves dance in the wind,On a cold and sleepless night. Her eyes hold no more tears,They took those away. She doesn't miss her dolls,She's broken every day.The moon shines on her face,Her life, for all, to see.A beautiful, innocent child,Sold into slavery. She doesn't know the world outside,Doesn't know the light of day.Her innocence, sold at night,Sells her life away. Her eyes close to the world,Indifferent to her plight. And the leaves dance in the wind,On a cold and sleepless night.
