Love is a warm liking; it is affection and devotion.It is care and acceptance without demands or condition.It grows inside the heart; its power is immense.But if it becomes obsession, loses logic and common sense.You see, but overlook; you hear lies, but believe;You are robbed, but do not care, and if wounded you don't bleed."Love is a gift from above" is St. Paul's definition,When he wrote about it under divine inspiration."Love is kind, he said, it doesn't envy or rebuke;It doesn't think of evil, but rejoices in the truth.It believes and bears all things, suffers pain and turmoil;Shows kindness under offense, and endures it all."Love is not selfish, forgives without condition;Gives the best it can give, but doesn't seek retribution.It reveals in any situation, in what you do or say;In the touching of your hand, and in the works of your day.Love conveys peace and joy. It is a ladder to climb above.The steps are your actions when they show that God is love!
