It all began with a friendly gesture,As friends we defied the winter winds Our thoughts, later revealed, yearning love .We braved the cold, we loved that night Without touch, without a warm embrace. Forever grateful I will be for one cold night.Life stood still and love given a chance But, the warmest of souls can be lost in the snow, Even the summer winds can cool down love. Now all that remains, memories frozen in time Still, I love to remember one freezing nightFor my greatest comfort is and always will be The love that grew between two warm hearts .
